Visual Science, Inc (VSI) was my first real job after my internship at CSU Publications. This is where I really began to learn page-layout using Adobe PagerMaker 6.5 to lay out the class notes for the CU Alumni magazine 'The Coloradan.' I also did some illustrations for a calendar. I learned how to make my first animated-GIF at VSI. We would often be visited by paper & printing reps that would give us all sorts of samples of the latest paper. I did a lot of scanning at this job (with a large-bed, two-sided scanner). I learned a great deal at this job, and I was fortunate to have spent time at Visual Science.
