Thursday night was an amazing evening of bluegrass music at Globe Hall.
THE PICKIN' PEAR
The Pickin' Pear (Leon Elam & Tia Martini) started things off with their original brand of bluegrass songs. They performed their own originals compositions, some Canyon Collected songs, and Grateful Dead cover. Their friend Tom Mueller joined them on guitar for several songs transforming them into the "Pickin' Pear Band." You can keep up-to-date about upcoming performances via their facebook page.
BURN IT BLUE
Burn It Blue, a bluegrass band from Golden, kept the good music flowing. This trio blazed through their set with passionate focus. You can find more information on their website.
High Desert continued the evening's bluegrass music by jumping straight into some wildly energetic music. Be sure to check out their facebook page for more information on this great band.
Cosmic Mesa was the headliner for the evening, but I didn't catch them as I was falling out of my saddle. But I have no doubts that they finished off a great night of bluegrass at Globe Hall. You can check out their website for more information.
